Submission of full papers
- The submission of full papers is due Monday 27th of February 2023 Midnight GMT.
- Papers using the full paper template should be submitted to the E&PDE 2023 Conftool.
- The call for workshops is now open until the 28th of April 2023 Midnight GMT.
- Workshop proposals should be submitted using the workshop application template.
The 25th International Conference on Engineering and Product Design Education will be hosted at:
ELISAVA, Barcelona School of Design and Engineering, on the 7th and 8th September 2023; with pre-conference workshops and events on the 6th September.
The E&PDE 2023 theme is Responsible innovation for global co-habitation.
The conference is organised in partnership with the Design Education Special Interest Group (DESIG) of the Design Society and the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED).
The E&PDE 2023 conference will bring together representatives from education and industry who have an interest in sharing new perspectives on design education. It will provide a forum for educators, practitioners and students from engineering and product design fields to discuss current and future educational issues. Professionals and students from other disciplines are also invited to contribute and participate.
We will continue the Visual Papers track inviting papers with high visual content and less text.
CALL FOR WORKSHOPS
The call for workshops is now open until the 28th of April 2023 Midnight GMT.
Workshop proposals should be submitted using the workshop application template.
The 25th International Conference for Engineering and Product Design Education will be taking place at Elisava University School of Design and Engineering, Barcelona, Spain from 6th – 8th September 2023.
The main conference and paper presentations will take place over two full days on 7th and 8th September, and the opportunity for delegates to attend workshops will be given on the afternoon of Wednesday 6th September 2023.
If you would like to consider hosting a workshop at this event, please complete the attached form and return to jo@ied.org.uk by the closing date of 28th April 2023.
Space will be limited to room availability on the day, and workshops will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis, dependant on the relevance of the workshop to the conference theme.
