The 25th International Conference on Engineering and Product Design Education

Call for abstracts

• The call for abstracts is now open until the 14th November 2023 Midnight GMT.
  • Abstracts should be submitted to the E&PDE 2023 Conftool.

• The call for workshops is now open until the 28th April 2023 Midnight GMT.
  • Workshop proposals should be submitted using the workshop application template.

The 25th International Conference on Engineering and Product Design Education will be hosted at:

ELISAVA, Barcelona School of Design and Engineering, on the 7^th and 8^th September 2023; there will also be pre-conference workshops and events on 6^th September.

The E&PDE 2023 theme is Responsible innovation for global co-habitation.

The conference is organised in partnership with the Design Education Special Interest Group (DESIG) of the Design Society and the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED). 

The E&PDE 2023 conference will bring together representatives from education and industry who have an interest in sharing new perspectives on design education. It will provide a forum for educators, practitioners and students from engineering and product design fields to discuss current and future educational issues. Professionals and students from other disciplines are also invited to contribute and participate. 

We will continue the Visual Papers track inviting papers with high visual content and less text.
